Tasty food at a great price and a good selection!

Good food and very friendly staff. Just a short walk from the Capitol building in Montpelier.

Nice restaurant. My wife going away party was here and it was nice. It was a Bittersweet dinner yet the food was great!

Food is usually good. Just okay this time. Rice was cold. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.

I love Mexican cuisine and the traditional Mexican fare here compares well to high-end Mexican restaurants I've eaten at in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern California and Florida. (I'm particularly fond of the unique street taco combos and their chorizo burritos.) In spite of this, there are times that I come here for their burger menu, which is equally outstanding.

Very good Mexican food in Montpelier, capital city of Vermont State.... variety and authentic flavours, great service and ambiance plus a well stocked wine and spirits (tequila and mezcal, of course) bar

Service was great and food was hot and delicious!!

This is not authentic Mexican food but Tex-Mex at best. Fresh guacamole is a plus but the meats needed some seasonings. Overall, decent.

It's alright, nothing spectacular, I've had worse up here. The salsa was the best part. The guacamole was average and I've had better store bought, don't bother with this or the queso which looked curdled.

The food was good the service was good and the atmosphere was great.

I love Julio's. They have a wide variety of choices, yummy margaritas and friendly staff. Daily Specials too. My favorite is the Cantina Cobb Salad!

Loved my meal and Margarita at Julio's. I had a Mexican Rice Bowl which was out of this world. When I was asked which kind, I said, oh, are there different options? The pork plus apple and squash sounded like a great combo. The waiter said I'm sure we can do both, and they did!

It's a nice place but the food can be a little over priced for the quality. Great drink list though and they have really good specials.

Haven't been here in over two years. I used to love it here. Everything started fine. But, I told the server I need to place a to go order and they never came back until we were almost done eating and I didn't want to wait 30 more minutes for food so I did not mention anything and they clearly had forgotten. This happens I understand, no big deal. But, the person I was with found hair in their food and when I went to the rest room our server was standing around the corner on their cell phone. I will return in the future but ask for a different server.

I’ve only been to Julio’s a handful of times, but every time has been a great experience! They play fun music, their food and margaritas are delicious, and I’m super impressed by their customer service!! I had Tabitha as a waitress tonight, and she is so attentive and fun. Highly recommend for amazing salsa and a fun night out!

Great Mexican food good service but a little slow.

Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the tamale fritters. Big thanks to Nile for suggesting the summertime white sangria. Street tacos were perfect for lunch.

The food was awful. I ordered a simple quesadilla and it wasn’t even cooked. It looked like it sat on the grill for less than 30 seconds because the tortilla was barely brown. Besides the slightly melted cheese there is no way it was cooked properly, which makes sense since our food came out so fast. Every time I attempted to pick it up literally all the contents just spilled out. Our waiter and service was amazing but the food is why it was my first and last time going.

Very tasty mexican food in a easy to find restaurant in Montpelier. For those that can't easily make decisions about what to have, their combination plates solve indecision. Full bar and helpful waitstaff.

The food is good and you get your monies worth. The down side the service is slow.

Great service. Good drinks. Decent food but not the greatest. Fresh salsas and guac are to notch, but the rest is only OK. To be fair, I had just come from a trip West and had some fabulous Mexican food, so my expectations may have been too high.

Arrived before a Sunday dinner "rush" and was met by welcoming staff. The menu was apparently new and the waitress couldn't answer a couple of questions about it but it wasn't a huge deal. What threw me off was the number of times a waitress went by and none of the cups on my table were getting refills. Flagging someone down for a water refill isn't common but I attribute that to a fairly young or new staff.The food was exactly what I wanted! Crunchy tacos and burritos made to order. The tacos are surprisingly expensive. Three crunchy tacos are basically the same price as a fully loaded burrito that has five times the amount of food inside. The chocolate toffee mouse cake was delicious - but had a negligible amount of toffee.

Bland tasting, but okay! Service is always lack luster, and so is the pricing..

We went here on a Wednesday night around 8. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal, hands down the best service we’ve had in a long time, and we eat out fairly often. Absolutely recommend Julio’s and can’t wait to go again!

Good value Mexican food. The grande locos nachos are great for sharing.

Nice place for a pitcher of so-so watery Sangria and “stereotypical” Texas-Mexican food. Great salsa sauces to go with your corn chips!!Sit outside if you can during our 3 months of Vermont warm weather!! 😆Very spacious place. Nice young energetic staff.

Horrible. The meat was awful! There were Flies everywhere and on top of that very expensive. Staff were nice tho. I wouldn’t go back.

The hostess was not very nice. It was a bother for her to wait on a simple party of 3. Asked if we could be seated at the bigger booth and it was a No. In all right we should of left. The waitess was a Sweetheart. 5 stars to her.

I had the roasted butternut squash, apples and corn enchiladas, which I've not seen at any other Mexican restaurant. It was very good, except it had too much cheese and not enough filling.

Super full, price is reasonable and for the first time I kind of like the beans. The service is good. The portion is too big for my small Asian stomach, but glad that I can take my leftovers back. Heard my peers said that the shrimp stuffing is good 👍

Went for birthday lunch. What a mistake! Rice was cold, beans were lukewarm, fajita meat wasn’t cooked and had so much paprika on it it turned our stomachs. Overall this is the the worst so called Mexican food I’ve had in years. It not only tastes horrendous it’s extremely overpriced. When the waitress was informed of food quality she said they get a lot of complaints. Don’t know how they stay open.
